The USC Trojans will look for a resurgence in 2024 as they enter a new conference, the Big 10 conference. Although a lot will be different, some things will remain the same.
USC veteran offensive lineman Jonah Monheim is expected to return to the Cardinal red and gold, according to team insider Chris Treviño.

Monheim has been great in four years at USC. According to PFF, the redshirt junior was spectacular, receiving an overall grade of 75.9, a pass block grade of 87.8, and a run block grade of 67.5. His pass block grade was ranked number 12 in the nation. On top of that, he allowed 21 total pressures but did not allow a sack or hit on the quarterback in 570 pass-blocking snaps.
The tackle was a team captain this past fall and will be the anchor of this offensive line if this report holds true. Monheim stands at 6-foot-5, 300 pounds, has been a vital piece for the offensive line, and was among the best in their line despite a shaky 2023 season.
This is excellent news for the Trojans as they'll immediately look to solidify themselves as a threat in the Big Ten.
Getting back solid OL is paramount for the Trojans to protect their next QB, which is likely going to be Miller Moss.
