Technically Doing It, a crew of Black and Brown pro snowboarders founded by Luis Madearis and friends, is hosting an awesome three-day event at Mayrhofner Bergbahnen in Austria.

The 6290 Showup is the first event of its kind and is focused on increasing inclusivity in snowboarding.

Luis Medearis posted on his Instagram in conjunction with TDI and Mayrhofner:

"We are super excited to announce that @technicallydoingit will be hosting “The 6290 Showup” at @mountopolis.at @penkenpark in Austria March 27th-29th! With this being Europe's first inclusivity snowboard event we want to invite everyone to come ride and après with us!"

Catalyzing and fostering inclusivity in the mountains is so important and Technically Doing It hosting this event is so rad! Their work positively shaping the snowboarding community is impactful and steadily increasing.

There will be three days of on hill events, followed by an afterparty in Innsbruck. The Instagram post shared details:

"March 27th Day 1 - Ride with the @chillfoundation
March 28th Day 2 - Ride and Apres
March 29th Day 3 - Ride and Apres/ After Party in Innsbruck ( details TBA)"

On March 27th, TDI invites everyone to ride with the Chill Foundation, which helps youth learn and grow through participation in snowboarding and other action sports. After that, the crew invites everyone to hang out in the park. We love building community and increasing inclusivity in snowboarding, so we're huge fans of the efforts and passion of the TDI crew--and their boarding is pretty epic, too. This is going to be a really good time, so get over to Penken Park if you're nearby!

Last season, TDI went to Stubai for Thanksgiving and released this edit of the trip.
